From the Chairs...Summer is finally here and that means WATER POLO! This should be another great season. The objective of the team is to introduce the sport of water polo. This is a great sport for all boys and girls between the ages of 8-14 years old. Our goals are to have fun and learn the sport of water polo. The kids will be coached water polo skills and game strategy's. Games are held in the shallow and deep ends of the pool and therefore the kids must be able to swim.
We have three teams, a U11 coed team (for kids who are under 11 years old before may 31 2008 but at least 8 years old), a U14 coed team (for kids who are 14 years old or under as of January 1 2008) and a U14 girls team (we draw kids from both the U14 and U11 coed teams). We will play 8 to 10 games plus the City Championship Tournament. Our teams practice Sunday mornings and most Wednesday nights. Practices will begin in early June and continue until the City Tournament at the end of July. Games are usually on Mondays and Wednesday nights.If you still want to register, contact the Bigenwalds.
